At first, I was in a deep depression but I’m so thankful for God’s Holy Spirit! God’s Comforter came to me and reminded me of past storms and how faithfulness in God can truly cause peace in the midst of chaos. I have caused a lot of my storms due to my disobedience and living as a single woman instead of a married one. My adulterous ways caused me heartache and brokenness. I love God and how he is truly transforming me!

When I was about 10 my grand mother told me many times I would make a great minister. I just laugh it off. Over the years I have given thought and wondered what lie would be like to be a minister and work with kids and teenagers. I have always felt I was a spiritual person more than a religious one. Because of a spine disease I have I was forced to quit working in my early 50’s. I have many troubles with my neck and lower back. I prayed hard asking God for guidance and direction. One night I as helping a friend and I went to the website for Foot Prints in the Sand. I had been searching for a school, a college to attend. On that site I found a ad for Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and now I am attending this school for my bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and on my way to becoming a youth minister. If it wasn’t for faith, pray and the power of the Lord none of this would ever happen. I pray each day for God’s guidance and love.
