It’s one thing to join the team but a totally different factor to feel part of the team. There may be two reasons for this.
First, it takes time for others to accept new people with new perspectives and ideas. They may also see you as an intrusion to their established community of friends.
Second, you may have plenty of inhibitions within you. Insecurities keep you from truly accepting the friendship they may be offering. Their words and gestures of acceptance may go unnoticed because of your insecurities.
Be understanding of them and yourself. Then get on with the program and fulfill the vision of the team.
