Site announcement

Since I began blogging regularly from 2012, I’ve made several changes to this site. The most recent change is the web address (url) of this blog. I’ve used the barnabas.in address for a long time now, but I’ve always been on the lookout for the barnabas.com address. But that .com site had been taken for a long time. Recently, I contacted the web admin of barnabas.com to see if they might be interested in selling. But no, they won’t sell. I took the step to ask since I noticed that the site is unused and has not been updated in years. Since it’s clear that they won’t sell, i’ve given up on that idea.

Yet I still wanted to get a more “general” .com address for this blog. The .in address is more specific to this region and I wanted it to be more generic. Finally I took the plunge and looked at the best option available: yourbarnabas.com and it was available. Maybe this new name reflects what I’ve been trying to do all along, to be a Barnabas to others. Thus, YourBarnabas.com may be an excellent combination of words for this blog address.
